This is the winter of our discontent... the north east, and in fact most of the country is struggling through a rough winter with many snow storms- each one with it's own character... we have had two or three storms with temperatures in the single digits- the snow from those storms was wonderfully easy to clear- I used a broom! We have had a few storms with regular snow- the kind that you can make awesome snow balls, snowpeople, and snow angels, and one major storm where the snow turned to an icy slushy mess...
Shoveling is one of the things I enjoy about snow- it gives me the exercise I love and allows me to feel accomplished during a time when getting out of the house can be difficult and dangerous.
I love watching the snow pile up, I like the snow ( and I know this is not something that people like to hear...) I live in N Y and part of the reason I love it here is because we have four distinct seasons... I love each one of them, winter for it's cold and snow... spring for it's rebirth... summer- probably my favorite, for the warmth, the beach and LONG hours of sunshine... the fall- i love the colors and enjoy watching the changes around me happening.
Winter this year has been challenging- I like the challenge!!!
