So, the floor saga continues...
I found out that the floor I purchased was discontinued, and contacted the manufacturer to see if I could get a box of boards anywhere, the manufacturer said that there was none left... Scott at All county Floors- one of the nice people I have dealt with during this difficult rebuilding process- did not give up, though I had...he had some "extra" time and was looking around the internet and found a place with a pallet of the flooring that I need. He arranged to have some shipped and thought he could do it in a little less costly manner, via UPS... the packages arrived yesterday and they were inspected- there were two boxes of flooring sent. The boxes were badly damaged upon arrival and I just spoke to Scott who confirmed what Judy had said- there were not likely even five usable boards within the two boxes... Who can believe the stuff that is happening. He is going to reorder and have them shipped, maybe next week???
I am laughing now, two weeks ago I think I would have been crying with this news.. what a difference.
